What is the Handbook?
The MacResource Handbook includes an in-depth walkthrough of the new and exciting features of MacOS 8.5 and customizing them. This handbook is aimed at the beginning to average Macintosh user. We assume you know how to do things like open a control panel, double click, etc. The handbook is constructed in a self-running application so you don't need any special application to view and interact with it.

Who are we?
The MacResource is an organization with the goal of bringing resources quickly and easily to Macusers around the globe. We are primarily based on Hotline Software (http://www.hotlinesw.com) and the World Wide Web. This includes a dedicated online staff to serve the Macintosh community. On the server we provide daily file updates, news related to Macintosh computing, and the latest shareware/freeware for the MacOS, among others. If you do not have the Hotline Software already, a copy of the PPC Client is included in the Goodies folder.
Why do we do all this?
We are all Mac addicts and will do anything to promote our computing platform. By doing things such as providing free file services, resources, and this handbook for a small price, we feel that we are doing a part in serving the Macintosh community to the best of our ability.
Does the Handbook cost anything?
No it does not cost you anything unless you choose to keep and use it, which we hope you will. If you do not find the Handbook interesting or helpful, please delete it. If you do find it helpful and choose to use it on a regular basis, we request that you please make a 5 US $ donation to us. This is a miniscule amount to pay for something you enjoy, even for shareware. Without your support we cannot support you!
